Human race will split into two races? Who believes this?

The human race will one day split into two separate species, an attractive, intelligent ruling elite and an underclass of dim-witted, ugly goblin-like creatures, according to a top scientist.

100,000 years into the future, sexual selection could mean that two distinct breeds of human will have developed.

The alarming prediction comes from evolutionary theorist Oliver Curry from the London School of Economics, who says that the human race will have reached its physical peak by the year 3000.

The report claims that after they reach their peak around the year 3000 humans will begin to regress

These humans will be between 6ft and 7ft tall and they will live up to 120 years.

"Physical features will be driven by indicators of health, youth and fertility that men and women have evolved to look for in potential mates," says the report, which suggests that advances in cosmetic surgery and other body modifying techniques will effectively homogenise our appearance.

Men will have symmetrical facial features, deeper voices and bigger penises, according to Curry in a report commissioned for men's satellite TV channel Bravo.

Women will all have glossy hair, smooth hairless skin, large eyes and pert breasts, according to Curry.

Racial differences will be a thing of the past as interbreeding produces a single coffee-coloured skin tone.

The future for our descendants isn't all long life, perfect bodies and chiselled features, however.

While humans will reach their peak in 1000 years' time, 10,000 years later our reliance on technology will have begun to dramatically change our appearance.

Medicine will weaken our immune system and we will begin to appear more child-like.

Dr Curry said: "The report suggests that the future of man will be a story of the good, the bad and the ugly.

H G Wells' Science Fiction novel The Time Machine (which was later adapted into two films - this picture is from the 2002 version) the human race has evolved into two species, the highly intelligent and wealthy Eloi...

...and the frightening, animalistic Morlock (as seen in the 1960 film version of the classic book)

"While science and technology have the potential to create an ideal habitat for humanity over the next millennium, there is the possibility of a monumental genetic hangover over the subsequent millennia due to an over-reliance on technology reducing our natural capacity to resist disease, or our evolved ability to get along with each other.

"After that, things could get ugly, with the possible emergence of genetic 'haves' and 'have-nots'."

Dr Curry's theory may strike a chord with readers who have read H G Wells' classic novel The Time Machine, in particular his descriptions of the Eloi and the Morlock races.

In the 1895 book, the human race has evolved into two distinct species, the highly intelligent and wealthy Eloi and the frightening, animalistic Morlock who are destined to work underground to keep the Eloi happy.

Human race will split into two races? Who believes this?

No this would not happen. Trends have shown that humans are become less distinct in the sense that there is no longer any significant source of allopatric speciation (i.e. human races no longer exist according to many biologists). Sympatric speciation is less common and would not be expected among a species like humans. For this trend to happen, there would need to be reproductive isolation between ugly people and beautiful people as well as smart people and dumb people and tall and short. It also assumes that men and women choose these attributes in fathers, not just in casual sexual relationships. Besides beutiful people are not always smart, rich, and tall. This is faulty logic. Dr. Curry's arguments are surprisingly short sighted and ignore many obvious issues in evolution.

Human race will split into two races? Who believes this?

I read that article too. I think it's interesting, but I think Dr. Curry is taking a little bit of a leap looking that far into the future. He could be right and it all sounds very poosible but he's looking really far ahead.

Human race will split into two races? Who believes this?

Whoever said that... must be pshyco... 4 real!

Human race will split into two races? Who believes this?

I read the article as well and find it amussing to find a 112 year old theory return to headline news.

Some of the flaws of this theory include the falacy that the working class would choose uglier mates and that the pretty people (which the article refrences plastic surgery) would produce likelwise pretty people. If your a buck toothed flat chested girl with mousey hair ...your kids will look like you .plastic surgery doent alter DNA.

The one statement made that i did find thought provoking is the racial blending idea. Like in matrix's final city Zion...every natural born human was coffee colored from interracial breeding.

Human race will split into two races? Who believes this?

That probably will happen, but not for a million more years.

Human race will split into two races? Who believes this?

I would doubt it but the eugenisists are out there, and conducting thier "Nazi" depopulation experiments. I've only actually seem this story on infowars.com or jonesreport.com.

If this isnt where you found this story check it out.

Human race will split into two races? Who believes this?

I read that article 2, i think scientists r running out of things to predict and now have to take off science fiction novels

Human race will split into two races? Who believes this?

Fascinating, isn't it? Just not very likely, in my opinion. Personal preferences are just that, personal, and what's considered "sexy" changes from generation to generation. By today's standards, Marilyn Monroe at 126 lbs, and very curvy, is considered "too fat" by today's preferences.

And it seems that the liberal viewpoint that all lifestyles and philosophies are equal, will disappear when there are 2 classes--whatever happened to "we are all one race, the HUMAN race!" The struggle for human and equal rights will be tossed into the garbage heap? Isn't creating a servant class a step backward? And how about those robots we were promised?

And why should there be a worker class when there will be machines, computers, and robots to do the menial and repetitive work? Shouldn't scientific advances eliminate the need for a subservient class? Or is this a wish to become a royalty vs peasant society? Are we recreating the feudal period? Slavery?

I think Dr. Curry was sensationalizing his theory for the publicity-some of the things he's proposing are illegal.

Human race will split into two races? Who believes this?

This question cannot be answered because it doesn't exist a 'human race' or 'human races', only ONE human SPECIES.

All humans are classified as belonging to the SPECIES 'Homo sapiens sapiens'.

Human race will split into two races? Who believes this?

Will the "goblin-like" species be called "homo uglo"?

How can I make synthetic hair less shiny?

I am going to be wearing a sort of padding and false hair combination worked in with my own hair, but the false hair (kanekalon) is too shiny -- even my own hair is not that shiny, and I am often complemented how soft and shiny my hair is. Clearly the synthetic pieces have shine beyond human capability!

The only solution I've ever heard mentioned is to sprinkle it with powder or dirt, but since my hair (and the piece) are so dark I am afraid that would lighten the color.

I might also add, it doesn't matter if the hair becomes stiff, that's fine -- it's just arranged over a piece of padding in order to fill out some areas where my own hair is too scant to cover it, so it doesn't need to be flexible.

If anyone can help, that would be great.

How can I make synthetic hair less shiny?

yea powder then brush some out. That is what they use backstage for models when their hair is too greasy.

How can I make synthetic hair less shiny?

You could try looking for like a matt finish hairspray and apply that...i have seen one made by TiGi.....

Are there any other animals that grow grey hair as they age besides humans of course?

Many animals grow grey hair. Domestic cats and dogs of course and almost all of the ape family. Also dog type animals such as wolves. The reason for the grey hair is the gradual loss of melanin which gives hair it's colour. Many animals do not live long enough for the melanin to deteriorate so keep their colours for all of their life. The types of animals kept for food, pigs, sheep, cattle etc do not live long enough to develop grey hair as they are usually slaughtered whilst young. Horses do though and most long lived pets. In the wild many animals are killed by predators as they get older or die of disease so they also never get the chance to go grey.

Dogs do on their nose

I've had dogs whose hair has gone grey as they've aged. Especially around the muzzle.

gorillas

Are there any other animals that grow grey hair as they age besides humans of course?

cats and dogs

Are there any other animals that grow grey hair as they age besides humans of course?

Gorillas' backs turn silver as they age. It's very common to see white hairs around aged dogs' muzzles; black cats turn brownish. That are the few examples I can recall now.

Are there any other animals that grow grey hair as they age besides humans of course?

dogs, monkeys, and polar bears get more brown and yellow.

Are there any other animals that grow grey hair as they age besides humans of course?

dogs do. on their muzzle and chin. my bunny has one patch of grey hair on her back, but she's only 2, so i don't think that's age.

Are there any other animals that grow grey hair as they age besides humans of course?

Dogs and wolves go gray, and older horses gray at the muzzle. Gorillas also go gray. If three such different kinds of animals go gray, many more probably do.

Are there any other animals that grow grey hair as they age besides humans of course?

Idont Think So. A Cats Hair Can Change Color.

Most of the primates, some bears, and dogs.

Cats, for some reason, don't seem to...

Why does hair grow harder and faster after you shave it?

Damn I hate hair... It's so darn pointless humans started wearing clothes for shielding ages ago, I think evolution should have reduced body hair to almost nothing by now!!

Why does hair grow harder and faster after you shave it?

It isn't really growing harder and faster, it is just that the length, texture and coarseness of your hair are determined by genetics and hormone levels, not by how often you shave.

It may be because many people start shaving early in life, when hair growth has not reached its highest rate and the hair is of lighter color. Also, hair is darker and rougher at its roots, so removing the tips gives the appearance of coarser hair.

The bristly stubble that emerges after shaving may also be more noticeable than the same amount of growth in hair that is already long.

Why does hair grow harder and faster after you shave it?

Your hair is darker and thicker the 'farther' back it is in your skin so when it grows back, it grows back darker and thicker.

I dont know why it grows faster, however.

Why does hair grow harder and faster after you shave it?

It doesn't. That's a myth.

Why does hair grow harder and faster after you shave it?

most definatly a myth. Nothing you can do will seriously affect your hair growth.

Why does hair grow harder and faster after you shave it?

It doesn't, you only think it does. If your hair fell out naturally, or by way of an epilator, it comes back in thin at first and then gets gradually thicker, so it appears softer.

When you shave, all hair starts to come back on an equal playing field. So it appears darker/thicker and seems to grow faster.

I will say, sometimes the vitamins you take will make your hair grow faster but also on your head which for some people is a good thing!
