If evolution was real, why do humans only have a dense amount of hair only on the head?

It's proof God created us. If we evolved from primates, we would have hair around our whole bodies. We were designed to wear clothes.

If evolution was real, why do humans only have a dense amount of hair only on the head?

we have evolved the characteristic of not needing hair, buddy. since it isnt cold like our ancestors use to live in, we dont need a lot of hair. its evolved to where we dont have it.

If evolution was real, why do humans only have a dense amount of hair only on the head?

Evolution is ongoing, we still have an appendix, totally useless. We are evolving so as we continue to do so we become less hairy.

If evolution was real, why do humans only have a dense amount of hair only on the head?

maybe we were the outcome of apes breeding with lizards

If evolution was real, why do humans only have a dense amount of hair only on the head?

No that just shows more evolution. It's called natural selection proven by Charles Darwin. Primates needed more hair as they were in the outdoors much more than us, just like cavemen were more hairy than we are now. We evolved to not have as much hair because we became more civilized.

If evolution was real, why do humans only have a dense amount of hair only on the head?

you're absolutely right...now where's Noah and his humongous ark?

If evolution was real, why do humans only have a dense amount of hair only on the head?

Charles W.M.X C Darwin had almost equal hair of a gorilla. Trust me on this one.

If evolution was real, why do humans only have a dense amount of hair only on the head?

Obviously, you have not read the creation story. God created Adam and Eve naked, and so they existed until they sinned. So, we could not have been designed to wear clothes.

Besides, it was clothes that made us stop having hair over our bodies. Early man migrated north, which required that he wear clothes for warmth. Once this became a custom of civilization, the need for hair all over the body diminished.

If evolution was real, why do humans only have a dense amount of hair only on the head?

We DO have hair on our entire bodies, it's called lanugo hair. the fact that humans do not have "hairy" bodies like other primates does not disprove evolution. Your "proof" is flawed.

(Don't think I do not believe God created us, though, because I do.)

If evolution was real, why do humans only have a dense amount of hair only on the head?

But we do have hair around our whole bodies. Just not as dense.

I don't want to argue about it because I believe that God began the universe and evolution (kind of a synthetic belief rather than just Darwinism or just fundamentalism)

Following survival of the fittest, it would follow that when humans began to disperse around the globe, especially desert land, maybe the hair got too hot? I don't know.

That's a good question.

If evolution was real, why do humans only have a dense amount of hair only on the head?

Evolution is something that is determined by outside forces.. like for instance a house (shelter) and clothing would be considered "outside forces".

We still have hair on our bodies, but not as think as primates simply because we don't need it anymore, so our bodies is adapting to the "outside forces".

That the same reason why people in Europe have longer noses, in general, than say people in Africa. The reason is because the outside force, being cold air in Europe, compared to Africa.

So the air is to cold for the body and uses the longer nose to heat it up on the way in. That is a simple change, but its still very basic evolution.

I hope that helps, I was trying to make this as easy as possible ;)

If evolution was real, why do humans only have a dense amount of hair only on the head?

You kind of just answered your own question. We evolved, that's why we don't have as much hair anymore.

If evolution was real, why do humans only have a dense amount of hair only on the head?

Oh is that REALLY where I only have hair? Let me tell you about pubic hair and its function...

If evolution was real, why do humans only have a dense amount of hair only on the head?

First, we do have hair around our whole bodies (except palms of hands and feet), the same as chimps and other apes.

Second, Adam and Eve were not designed to wear clothes. They were naked in the garden. They only wore clothes after the fall. Are you saying God designed them to sin, that they had no free will?

If evolution was real, why do humans only have a dense amount of hair only on the head?

Evolution is real, but you must study structure and function to understand it. Biologists are not claiming that people came from monkeys. They are just pointing out that all organisms change over a long period of time.

Study history - people are much taller now than they were in the middle ages. That is a change over time.

Imagine early pre-Homo sapiens. They realized that covering their bodies helped to keep them warm. However, by covering their bodies they "wore away" the hair in the areas covered by the furs or skins they wore. Over 20 or 30 generations the hair simply stopped growing as thick in those areas. You body is reasonably well equipped to "use it or lose it" and will not waste resources and energy to produce thick hair where it is not needed. People still have body hair - just not as thick because the body knows it is no longer needed for survival.

If evolution was real, why do humans only have a dense amount of hair only on the head?

The amount of hair-growth (follicle tips) is denser on the parts of the body where the skin is more stretched. Commonly, the scalp is a mostly s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d peice of skin on the human body - with exception to those of us who don a beard (myself included.)

Although, those of us (gentlemen and a few ladies, so I hear) have as much. if not more follicle growth on our chests - and other parts on our bodies (including armpits.)

NATURE is commonly uncommon.

*GO FIGGER!

If evolution was real, why do humans only have a dense amount of hair only on the head?

IF evolution was real??? Go back to school. And in case you haven't heard, we ARE primates - we are biologically classified as APES. Now go read about what the word "evolution" REALLY means (that we probably came from a common ancestor) instead of listening to religious propaganda. Study how DNA works and evolution becomes OBVIOUS. And to your comment that we would have hair everywhere - ever see Robin Williams?

If evolution was real, why do humans only have a dense amount of hair only on the head?

Designed to wear clothes? You know Adam and Eve were naked and only discovered modesty after consuming the forbidden fruit.

Wearing clothes is a consequence of original sin, not of God's design.

If evolution was real, why do humans only have a dense amount of hair only on the head?

According to the old testimant we werent designed to wear clothes.. remember thats when adam %26amp; eve got in trouble with god.. when they covered themselves after the apple incident because they were naked and ashamed.... So the God created man to wear clothes argument dosent wash biblically.. (you cant have it both ways)

And if fact humans do have hair around thier whole bodies.. its just finer %26amp; lighter in some more than others.. There is more than one human running around these days that make the Gieco Cavemen look positively hairless.

One possible reason for more hair on the head area in general is thats in an insulation thing... it protects the brain from extreme heat or cold , andother is it might have something to do with subliminal mating %26amp; attraction much like a lions mane or a peacocks tail

If evolution was real, why do humans only have a dense amount of hair only on the head?

You are absolutely brilliant, D鐩瞡i B.

I'm going to call Dawkins and Gould and tell them that you have it all figured out.

I'm also going to visit all of the universities and museums in the world and present them with your sound, vibrant, and irrefutable "proof."

No doubt, they will be as amazed as I am at your vast knowlege and understanding of science.

NOT!

If evolution was real, why do humans only have a dense amount of hair only on the head?

We do have hair all over our bodies--look at your arms and face. Then compare people from different areas--equatorial people, who have traditionally lived at lower, warmer latitudes have less hair when compared to people who have traditionally lived at higher altitudes.

Also, I have definitely met some people with veritable fur coats on their torsos:).

If evolution was real, why do humans only have a dense amount of hair only on the head?

Sexual selection. Hominid girls thought relatively non-hairy boys were cuter. Similarly, hominid boys thought relatively non-hairy girls were cuter.

If evolution was real, why do humans only have a dense amount of hair only on the head?

HAIR ON YOUR HEAD HELPS REGULATE HEAT DISSIPATION

If evolution was real, why do humans only have a dense amount of hair only on the head?

Most people these days accept that evolution is the way humans and other animals have developed. We are pretty sure that the earlier versions of us were considerably hairier than we are today. We needed the hair, as do other animals, to protect us from the effects of cold and heat, as we didn't wear clothes, then.

Over millennia we started to use animal skins and other materials to help keep us warm, correspondingly evolution lent a hand by deciding we didn't need as much hair.

There is an unproved theory that bald men are higher up the evolutionary ladder than hairy men. (this theory, of course is mainly supported by men who have less hair)

We have evolved, the (admittedly few) remains of earlier man shows a stooped, heavier boned, version of modern man. We have grown taller, our cranial capacity has increased, we have lost some of the musculature and strength of early man because we have used tools to mould our world and rely less on brute strength.

It is not exactly clear why hair has remained under the arms and around the genital areas, though one day, no doubt, some clever scientist will work it out for us.

There is no 'proof' that God created anything, those that believe in God have faith, which is sufficient for them. Those that don't, believe in science or nothing at all.

It is also not clear whether or not we actually eveolved from primates. No 'missing link' has been found to tie the species together. Popularly we evolved from a possible common creature, but this has been neither proved nor disproved.

If evolution was real, why do humans only have a dense amount of hair only on the head?

supposedly, somewhere in an unspecified age, our ancestors became aquatic, and their infants needed something to hold on to.

the appendix is not a vestigal organ, it aids in the digestion of raw meat.

darwin was a racist.

evolution is a faith, poorly founded in the name of humanism.

man cannot achieve salvation, it is a gift freely offered.

If evolution was real, why do humans only have a dense amount of hair only on the head?

Well there are a lot of animals that have different amounts of air- some with much less hair than us. Physically there will always be interesting differences that don't make logical sense. But this doesn't prove evolution is real either. Humans are wildly different than all other animals. Humans have a sense of self, community, adaption, etc. more than anything else. I would be inclined more to believe that humans came from an alien race than to believe that we simple got all the useful adaptations and the dog got the adaptations to lick his own butt.
