I think it is impossible to digest our own hair, but if ingested on accident, is it possible to digest the hair of an animal or another human?

You have human hair...so no, hair, in general is not digestable....we are mammals...other animal's hair/fur is essentially constructed in the same manner...tougher in some instances. If it was digestable, we would be eating it.---thats why we have learned, over time, to skin animals.
